Great Race-quality tire from Panaracer with Puncture protection, and dual-compound.
These tires give you good, low rolling resistance when you are riding in a straight line, but more grip when you turn a corner.
These are durable enough to use on a track bike at the velodrome, for training purposes, but light enough to use on a road bike for all purpose riding, too.
The Race D also has an effective puncture-resistant belt wrapped under the outer rubber compound, and this particular 'D' model prioritises durability/long life over light weight, while still only weighing in at an average of ....

Available in all black or black with 'classic' brown sides. The brown side version suits more classic builds, like for builds which incorporate thin steel lugged frames, or mainly silver parts. You could also match them up well to a brown leather saddle and bartape, or a brown suede Kashimax Aero saddle, for example.
Available in 700c x 23c/25c/28c. For a Japanese track frame, we recommend 23c to allow for clearance, as many of these frames are very tight, and designed primarily for 21/22c tubular tires. However if you are confident that 25c will fit then by all means they could work very well, also.
