This is the Limited edition Black Pearl stem from Nitto Tokyo.
Anodized BLACK, with a 25.4mm clamp size, and 22.2 insertion diameter.
The beautiful, timeless Nitto Pearl stem has an angle which is close to straight/horizontal when fitted to an average track frame.
The quill is longer than the NJ PRO stem's, so you can set it to a much more comfortable position.
The Pearl is, however, a pro racing stem, and is strong enough to rely on whether sprinting, racing keirin, or doing your daily run through the streets.
It has been many years since Nitto last made a pro racing stem in black.
We feel very lucky to be able to offer you this stem, and we can not be sure how long we will have them for, as this is a 'limited edition' of sorts.
This stem is not NJS stamped due to the color, but this is the only physical difference between the black and silver versions.
Black stems are not allowed in pro keirin racing, due to the NJS rules.
You must have a threaded 1 inch headset/fork type, to use this stem.
