Metallico Super Bulls - Meki chrome!

These amazing Super Bull bars are the latest limited edition offering from Metallico, Japan.
Unlike the first generation of Super Bulls which started out as a Nitto B123, this time the bar is a Metallico original, made from steel in Japan. The ends are capped and welded shut, and then the bar is chromed.
The drop bar is customised at a small East Osakan workshop, an area famous in Japan for its hundreds of tiny 'kodawari' engineering, and small parts factories. The bulls are 35cm steel keirin bars, cut short to a bull shape, the basic shape being almost identical to a chopped Nitto B123. A dome shaped piece of cro-mo steel is then welded onto each end, and smoothed. The bars are chromed with very thick chrome, which is very resilient to scratches. It is about 3 times as thick as the chroming that is done to most frames in Japan.
Black and white will be available in the next 2-3 months, but for now, the chrome model is available at tracksupermarket.com! Be quick. Only 50 of each style were made (bull and drop bar), and tracksupermarket only got a lot of 16 bars.
Please note that there is a thin line about half a mm wide, that is not chromed, in the middle of the clamp area. This will be covered by a quill stem, but for those of you using ahead type stems, depending on the clamp design, you might want to consider this. I will have photos up shortly.
