I have been hunting/buying/selling and riding japanese keirin frames pretty religiously for several years now, taking advantage of the wealth of great builders in my adopted country! But to be honest, there are still many things that I have never touched or even seen in person. A customer came in to my Osaka shop yesterday who rode a VENUS. …. that is a rare beast. I had never seen one before. Just a week before, I saw the first Yamamoto NJS frame in my life, as well. I will post pics of that later. Something else that does not come up very often, or at least, does not fall in the hands of a far-from-pro keirin senshuu like me, is a brand new, never touched, never built-up, never greased up NJS frame! Well, apart from a Panasonic custom order at least. I was lucky to receive 2 brand new large Bridgestone / Anchor frames a few weeks ago. They are just amazing.
